Ladies Golfing Surging in Popularity

With the surge in popularity of golfing in recent years among demographic groups that have not traditionally played golf, ladies golfing has become hugely popular and warrants some discussion.

Most courses around the world now feature special ladies tees that are set several yards ahead of the mens tees in order to equalize the game for female golfers. While men and women are equally capable of playing and succeeding at the game of golf, women in general drive the ball a shorter distance, and the closer tees reflect this slight disparity in driving abilities. Ladies golfing is quickly becoming as popular as mens golfing, and the upsurge is showing no signs of slowing down.
