Disc Golfing for Dummies

Disc golfing, otherwise known as Frisbee golf (or "Frolf" for short) is an increasingly popular sport among the younger generation. Frolf courses are springing up all over the country and are particularly prevalent in the Pacific Northwest.

Frolf is played by throwing a variety of weighted discs from a tee area in order to reach a the "hole" which is usually represented by a chain link basket suspended at chest level. Frolf courses are generally built in wooded areas, as opposed to regular golf courses which are built on beautifully manicured lawns. Frolf is a fun and easy way to get your kids interested in golf and is much more laid back than actual golfing.
